South Valley Cusco Full Day Tour

Start of the Tour

We begin with pickup from your hotel between 08:30 and 08:45 hrs. At 09:00 hrs we will start the journey through the fascinating South Valley of Cusco, a route that combines archaeological wonders, pre-Inca and Inca heritage, and unique gastronomic experiences.

Tipón

Our first visit will be the Tipón Archaeological Park, known for its advanced system of canals and agricultural terraces. This site is a jewel of Inca hydraulic engineering, where water flows with precision and harmony to this day.

Pikillacta

We will continue to Pikillacta, an impressive citadel of the Wari culture. Here we will discover its walls, streets, and squares that demonstrate the surprising urban organization of a civilization that flourished before the Inca Empire.

Andahuaylillas

Our next stop will be the famous Chapel of Andahuaylillas, called the "Sistine Chapel of America". Its interior is decorated with murals, gilded altarpieces, and architecture that blends the religious and the artistic in a masterpiece of the colonial period.

Gastronomic Tour

During the return, we will take a gastronomic tour through the traditional villages of southern Cusco:

• Oropesa: we will taste the famous "chuta" bread, local pride.
• Tipón: we will enjoy its traditional baked guinea pig, prepared in the Cusco style.
• Saylla: we will stop for lunch and try the best chicharrones in Cusco.

Return to Cusco

After lunch, we will return to the city of Cusco, ending the tour near the Plaza de Armas, ideal for continuing to explore the charms of the historic center.
