RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR

Pick up and departure from Cusco
Between 4:30 am and 5:00 am, our team will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to start this experience. We will embark on a journey of approximately 2 hours, traveling about 80 km south of Cusco.

Itinerary

Breakfast in Cusipata – Tintinco

Upon arriving at Cusipata – Tintinco, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by our chefs. If you have any dietary restrictions or are vegetarian, you can let us know in advance to provide suitable options.

Transfer to the starting point of the hike

After breakfast, we will continue the journey to the starting point of the hike. On the way, you will be able to appreciate the view of the imposing Wiñay Ritty snowy mountain, known as "Forever Young". Upon arrival, we will have time to organize our hiking gear (poles, water, cameras, etc.).

Hike to the Rainbow Mountain

We will start the hike at a calm pace, traversing beautiful high Andean landscapes for approximately 2 hours, as we approach the famous Rainbow Mountain.

Rainbow Mountain (5200 masl)

We will arrive at the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), located at about 5200 masl, where we can enjoy a panoramic view of vibrant colored mountains, a unique natural phenomenon. After admiring the landscape and taking photos, we will begin the descent, which will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Lunch at local restaurant

Upon finishing the hike and arriving back at the bus station, our vehicle will take us to a local restaurant, where we will taste a typical and comforting lunch to recover energy.

Return to Cusco

Approximately at 4:30 pm, we will start the return trip to Cusco, where this wonderful experience in the Rainbow Mountain will end.
