Itinerary
Start of the Tour
The day begins with pickup from your hotel between 07:30 and 08:00 hrs. From Cusco, we will depart for the Sacred Valley of the Incas, enjoying Andean landscapes that combine history and nature.
Chinchero
Our first stop will be the picturesque town of Chinchero, the birthplace of Andean textile art. We will visit a craft center where ancestral techniques of spinning, dyeing, and weaving with natural dyes are preserved, crafted by local women.
Way to Moray
We will continue the tour towards Moray, making a brief stop at the Raqchi viewpoint to admire the Sacred Valley in all its splendor. Upon reaching the Moray archaeological site, we will learn about its circular terraces, used by the Incas as agricultural laboratories to experiment with different microclimates.
Salt Mines of Maras
We will continue to the famous Salt Mines of Maras, where more than 3,000 salt ponds form a unique and glistening landscape. We will learn about their operation and the importance of salt extraction since pre-Columbian times.
Urubamba and Lunch
We will head to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with local products, surrounded by the tranquility and beauty of the valley.
Seminario Ceramics
We will end our route with a visit to the prestigious Seminario Ceramics workshop, where we will observe unique handmade decorative pieces. Each work combines contemporary art with ancestral symbolism. Then, we will return to Cusco and drop you off in the historic center.
