Itinerary
Start of the Adventure
At 04:00 am, we will meet at your hotel in Cusco to start our journey to the community of Japura (approximately 3 hours of travel), where this fascinating ATV experience begins.
Energy Breakfast in Japura
Upon arrival in Japura, we will enjoy a restorative breakfast. Our guide will provide safety instructions, and you will receive the necessary helmets and gloves for the activity. We will have a test drive of the ATVs before starting the tour.
ATV Adventure
We start the ATV tour through high Andean paths, surrounded by stunning views of snow-capped mountains and groups of alpacas. The guide will lead the group, and a support vehicle will be available (time will vary according to the group).
Walking Tour: Qosqopata to Vinicunca
From Qosqopata, we start a walk towards the Rainbow Mountain, a journey of approximately 45 minutes at a quiet pace. The maximum altitude we will reach is 5,036 m above sea level.
Vinicunca Viewpoint
We arrive at the Vinicunca viewpoint, where we will have free time to take pictures and listen to an explanation from the guide about the geology and local culture. If the weather permits, we will take a short walk along the ridge.
Descent and Return by ATV
We return to Qosqopata and then descend by ATV to Japura, where we will take a short break, hydrate, and prepare for the next land transfer.
Lunch in Cusipata
We head to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch with various hot options, accompanied by coca tea and refreshing drinks. We will have free time to rest before the return journey.
Return to Cusco
We depart from Cusipata for Cusco. The return is scheduled for the afternoon, and the tour will end in the historic center of Cusco or at your hotel, depending on the logistics of the day.
