Itinerary
Start of the Tour
Pickup from your hotel between 08:30 and 08:45 hrs. At 09:00 hrs, we begin this comprehensive historical experience through the most emblematic sites of the city of Cusco and its surroundings.
Qoricancha
Our first visit is to the Qoricancha, or Temple of the Sun, the most important religious center of the Inca era. We will admire the perfect fusion between Inca architecture and colonial art inside the Convent of Santo Domingo.
Sacsayhuaman
We head to the Sacsayhuaman fortress, famous for its giant stones and zigzagging walls. From here, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Cusco while learning about its strategic and ceremonial importance.
Qenqo
We continue to Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial center carved into a natural rock formation. We will explore its underground tunnels and altars where rituals in honor of the earth were performed.
Puka Pukara
Our next stop is Puka Pukara, the "Red Fortress", which served as a military post and rest area for the Inca nobility. Its strategic location offers a beautiful view of the Cusco mountains.
Tambomachay
We visit Tambomachay, the "Temple of the Water", an archaeological complex dedicated to the cult of water. We will observe its continuous fountains and the masterful distribution of flow through its terraces.
Return to Cusco
Finally, we return to the city center, dropping you off near the Plaza de Armas so you can continue enjoying the afternoon in the Imperial City.
